From the heart of Canada, a prairie girl at heart, Jasmine Elyse graces any stage or event with her folk-singer songwriter sound and French traditional influences. Jasmine started performing from a young age. She has over ten years of experience playing and performing at various festivals and events. After many years of being the artistic director and playing with the French traditional band Cht’koot, she is branching off and focusing on her own story as an artist who writes and performs her own songs. After producing her single “Oh my darling” in March 2024 with Roman Clarke, she released her debut EP "Back To You" in June 2025.
Recorded at le Studio de l’Établier in Marchand Manitoba, BACK TO YOU is a collection of new songs from a talented artist recorded with a range of skilled musicians, which speaks to listeners from all over. Produced by Joel Perreault in a studio by the Seine river, BACK TO YOU came to life one song at a time. The album will take you on a nostalgic journey of love and heartbreak; stories told through her unique sound which blends elements of modern folk and traditional French music.
Jasmine Elyse ( known as Jasmine Régnier) grew up in a Francophone household in southern Manitoba with the violin being her first instrument. She always incorporates the sound of the violin in her music and that can be perceived on BACK TO YOU as a delicate addition to her songs.
Started writing her own music back in 2021, she writes a mixture of French and English songs with indie folk and French traditional influences. She loves sharing her stories and music with the world and to connect with her audience. Her lyrics talk about nostalgia, heartbreak and the state of the world around us. Her songs will transport you as she uses a mix of violin and guitar to create her own sound. She is now working on recording her first album. Jasmine Elyse is a rising Canadian musician and songwriter that listeners will not want to miss.
